For adult cats:
Weighing 4 to 8 lb (1.8 to 3.6 kg); ¼ to ½ cup of dry food.
Weighing 8 to 12 lb (3.6 to 5.4 kg); ½ to ⅔ cup of dry food.
Weighing 12 to 16 lb (5.4 to 7.2 kg); ⅔ to ¾ cup of dry food.
Weight over 16 lb (over 7.2 kg); ¾ plus ¼ cup for every 2 lb (1 kg) over 16 lb (7.2 kg).
For kittens:
