SG Petshop is a Singapore pet supplies shop with a purpose: a portion of the profit from what you buy here goes back to caring for our community cats and dogs.

How it started

Mika, a white cat rescued from a drain

It began with a few strays near our office. We were passing feeders at first, then it became a daily round. One rainy season we found a mother cat on the street with her four kittens. We took all five home and found every one of them a loving home – the mother cat included.

We did not know it then, but that family was the start of our work in animal welfare.

Why we run a pet shop

We run our own Trap, Neuter and Release (Rehome) programme for Singapore’s community animals. Rescue never stops needing money – food every day, and vet bills that never arrive at a convenient time – so we opened a pet supplies shop to keep it going. Every purchase helps an animal here that needs it, whether that is a meal, a sterilisation or a second chance at a home.

What we sell

Food, treats, and health and everyday care products for cats and dogs, from the brands Singapore pet owners actually feed – Royal Canin, Aixia, Fussie Cat, Hill’s, INABA, ACANA, Advance, Thrive and others. We only sell what we believe in: if a product is not good enough, it will not be sold here. Our own rescues – Milo, Simba, Mika and Minmin among them – are our food tasters.

We buy in full cases and break them down, which is why you will often see the same product listed as a single can, a six-pack and a full carton, each at a different price per unit.

How we work

Orders are picked and packed by our own team at our Ubi warehouse, not drop-shipped, and delivered within 24 hours – free on every order above $100. Packing it ourselves means we check what goes into the box, keep an eye on expiry dates on food and treats, and can answer questions about a product because we have it in front of us. Stock is shared with our marketplace storefronts from the same shelves, so what you see here is what we actually hold.

Follow our rescue work

The animals we are caring for, and the ones who have found their homes, are on our Facebook page, TNR Project SG.
